OurVision

A Nigeria where no one is dehumanised, harmed, or killed by mob violence—and where every act is recorded, remembered, and met with accountability. MobWatch envisions a future where researchers, journalists, advocates, and the public can easily access reliable data on mob justice, helping to drive change through evidence, not silence.

MobWatch is a public archive that collects, verifies, documents and analyses cases of jungle justice, mob violence, public lynching and its similarities in Nigeria.
MobWatch seeks to:
  • Track and document cases of mob violence in Nigeria.
  • Provide data for researchers, journalists and advocates against mob violence.
  • Track and document cases of mob violence in Nigeria.
  • Provide closure to victims of mob violence or
  • Advocate for efficient and better policing in the Nigeria Police Force as well as in the Nigerian judiciary.
